Abstract: The domestic polyvinyl alcohol fiber and natural river sand were used to prepare high ductility cementitious composite (HDCC) for bridge deck link slab repairing. Workability, mechanical properties, bending toughness, ductility and early age cracking resistance properties of the HDCC were tested. The results show that the slump flow is 190mm. At age of 28 days, flexural strength and compressive strength are 15.5MPa and 54.4MPa, respectively. The maximum bending deflection is 10mm and ultimate elongation is 2.5%. The early age cracking improvement rate is 100%. The application of HDCC in the repair of one bridge deck link slab was carried out. The test results of in-situ sampling show that the HDCC meets the design requirements and the application effects are satisfied.
