Abstract: Through the design of mixture ratio, to make up the aeolian sand concrete, river sand is replaced with the same quality aeolian sand according to certain proportion (mass ratio is 0, 10%, 30%, 50%, 70%, 90%), its workability is determined. And then groups of cubes with different dimensions and prism specimens are prepared. The compressive strength and tensile strength are determined. The best replacement ratio of aeolian sand is determined. The test results show that when the replacement ratio of the aeolian sand is 30%, its workability is best and the compressive strength and tensile strength of different size specimens are largest. Further analyzing test results, the mathematical relationship of the aeolian sand concrete is set up between the cube compressive strength of different sizes, between axial compressive strength and standard cube compressive strength and between tensile strength and standard cube compressive strength. The results of the study provide certain theoretical basis for the design and application of the aeolian sand concrete.
