Abstract: Using the non-contact testing method of concrete shrinkage deformation, the effect of HCSA expansive agent on the early shrinkage of self compacting concrete is studied. The results show that with higher grade of strength, there is the tendency to increase early shrinkage of self compacting concrete. For the typical ordinary self compacting concrete of strength grade C40, its 3d shrinkage rate is about 1350×10-6. When adding 8% HCSA expansive agent, the early shrinkage can be reduced by 80%～92%. With the full moisturizing maintenance conditions, the self compacting concrete mixed with HCSA expansive agent can be in a constant non-shrinkage state.
