Abstract: Embedded steel in concrete is a new reinforcement technology. Based on the adhesive bar research, though the static stress pull-out tests of adhesive steel in concrete, the whole load-slip curves of different style angle steel with different strength grade concrete are obtained. There are two types of failure modes: the section steel snapping failure and interface sliding failure between the section steel and the structural adhesive. The load-slip curve can be divided into three stages under different failure modes. The failure mechanism of interface between steel and concrete is analyzed. The line load-slip constitutive relationship is proposed as the bond-slip constitutive relationship of embedded steel in concrete, which can be used to conduct the finite element calculation.
