Abstract：Fibre reinforced concrete can be widely used in the construction and repair of airport pavement. New synthetic fibre reinforced pavement concrete improves the shortcomings of traditional steel fibre reinforced pavement concrete, such as great weight, high cost, severe wearing to airplane tires and so on. Based on the discussion of fibre reinforced pavement concretes and its frost resistance of airport pavement, the effects of adding steel fibres and polypropylene fibres into pavement concrete and different fiber dosages on the frost resistance of pavement concrete are researched by fast frost test. The results show that frost resistance of pavement concrete adding polypropylene fibres is better than that adding steel fibres. There is the optimum fibre volume dosage when adding polypropylene fibres into pavement concrete, and adding 1.0% polypropylene fibres can achieve the best improving effect on frost resistance.
